Between 200 and 100 million years ago, at the end of Triassic, sea turtles started their hazardous journey through the world oceans and seas of the planet. The dinosaurs disappeared 65 million years ago, but they have been able to survive, coming to form populations of hundreds of thousands of specimens until just two centuries ago.
