Neotropico Foundation
Neotropico Foundation is a Non for profit Organization, working internationally for EE (Environmental Education), Research on Zoology and threatened species Conservation Programs, fight againts AIS (Alien Invasive Species) and also in Rescue and Rehabilitation of wildlife. Working since 1991, was registered as a Foundation in the year 2000. it has been declared of General Interest by Spanish Government Ministerial order on September the 11th of year 2000, and included in the Foundations Registry of the Education Ministry with the number: 514.
In collaboration with the Tenerife island Council, it has rescued and returned to the ocean over 1,000 sea turtles between years 2000 and 2014, with the participation of over 40,000 people in educational and environmental awareness activities.
